Artist Bio:
Liz Maugans is co-founder of Zygote Press, Inc. She received her BFA from Kent State University and her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She teaches at Cleveland Institute of Art and Lorain Community College in drawing and print. She has exhibited her work at Massillon Museum of Art, Massillon, OH. Verne Riffe Gallery, Columbus, OH., Fort Hayes State University, Fort Hays, KS and a solo show at Afterhours Gallery in Phoenix, AZ. She has received  an Individual Artist Fellowship in 2000 from the Ohio Arts Council and just returned from Dresden, Germany from an artist exchange through the Ohio Arts Council. She received several grants from 2004-2006 including an Artist–in-Communities Grant from the OAC.
